What a fabulously festive start to December we had last week! The Christmas Lunch was a real hit and the canteen staff surpassed themselves this year (thanks to SOCS for providing the crackers!), then onto the Nursery rendition of The Sleepy Shepherd which was beautiful (and a little entertaining at times!) and finally the Christmas Fayre… it was truly wonderful! A HUGE thank you to our dedicated team of parents who have been working away behind the scenes for weeks and to the parents who were roped in to help on the day. Also big thanks to the children and teachers who created some super activities and crafts to sell. And a final THANK YOU to everyone who supported this fundraising event by donating goodies and coming along on the day to share in the fun!
The festive fun continues this week as P5-7 take to the stage to perform Cinderella and Rockerfella and the afternoon Nursery are getting all geared up for their stage debut of The Lucky Owl!
And as if that wasn’t enough, Friday 12th December is Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day and we’d like to invite anyone who would like to take part to do so. We realise this is the time of year where we’re asking for lots of donations but do feel it’s really good cause to support. So, if your child has something festive they would like to wear (jumper, head-gear, t-shirt or even a bit of tinsel) then we’d love to see them dressed up on Friday. Any donations towards this cause are welcomed, thank you!
I do like this time of year 🙂
