Health and Wellbeing

Health and Wellbeing is a core area of the curriculum and it contains different strands that the children from Nursery up to S6 explore.

  • Food and Health
  • Mental, Emotional, Social and Physical Wellbeing
  • Planning for Choices and Change
  • Physical Education, Activity and Sport
  • Substance Misuse
  • Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood

New guidance has been compiled that includes advice from different agencies working in the domain of Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood and this will change how we have approached this topic in previous years.

If you click on the tab at the top of this page you’ll be able to view the intended learning for your children and we’d like to invite any interested parents/carers to join us on Thursday 5th May from 9.00-10.00 if they have any questions about what the children will be working on this term.
