A little note from Miss Rae and Mrs McCormick,
We just want to say a massive well done to all the amazing runners that we had for cross country. We had over 40 children who came each week with such determination and motivation. We really do have some super runners in Crown, but unfortunately we can’t take everyone to the McRobert Cup (even though we would love to). We are only allowed to take 12 runners across Primary 2 and 3, which made our job super difficult. We have managed to take the numbers down to 20 at the moment and we will be training at Fraser back from 12:00 to 12:30 on a Wednesday like normal. So please remember proper running gear and a pack lunch. We may try and squeeze in some after school training for those who can make it on a day to be confirmed but we will be in touch. The children know who are in the squad at the moment and they know that they all won’t be able to come along. But the great news is, after the McRobert cup on the 22nd March, training will begin again for the Baillie Cup. The Baillie Cup has lots of different races and we will need runners with all different strengths. So we hope to see as many if not all you back after the Easter holidays for athletics training. Thank you again for all your hard work. You are all superstars!
