We are so excited to announce that one of our very own talented teachers, Miss Rae, is taking part in Strictly Inverness!
Crown Primary will be supporting her all the way as she aims to raise as much money as possible for the Highland Hospice and the Inverness Ice Centre.
On Thursday 16th February, the Rights Respecting Schools group will support Miss Rae by hosting a Bake Sale in the Learning Zone. We will be looking for donations of home baking (no nuts please) on this day, with all cakes priced at 50p.
Then on Tuesday 4th April, the whole school will take part in a sponsored walk (let’s hope for much better weather this year! J). The profits raised from this will be split, with half going to the Highland Hospice & the Inverness Ice Centre, and the other half to school funds. We aim to add a dancing twist to our sponsored walk this year by learning some new moves and performing these outside! Information to follow about this event.
Lastly, Miss Rae has organised for some visitors to come into school to allow pupils to take part in some dancing workshops. This will incorporate different styles of dance from across the world.
We are really looking forward to these upcoming events and we are sure the Crown Community will get right behind Miss Rae and their support for her amazing fundraising efforts!
