Thanks to the parents who managed to our School Improvement Meeting last week. There was very positive feedback about our vision to have Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing targets individualised for every pupil before Easter and regularly updated through teacher/pupil Learning Conversations. This will mean interventions will be quickly applied to produce progress and challenge.
There was agreement that our shared aims should be aspirational and inclusive of all. We want the values of our school to reflect our growing awareness of social skills, emotional literacy, fairness and equality and the rights of every child as we prepare our pupils for their continuing learning journey. This will require opportunities to build resilience, perseverance, cooperation, mutual respect and flexibility. All important skills for becoming a successful adult.
Powerpoint link is below for those of you who could not attend. I would welcome any feedback. Ms MacDonald.
