Internet Matters – Parental Controls

CaptureAt Crown we want our pupils to engage with technology and the internet to support their learning and extend their thinking.

In school our pupils agree to using technology responsibly and our managed service providers, Fujitsu, along with ICT Services in Highland Council help keep us safe online.

Using devices and accessing the internet at home allows learners to extend their engagement with technology outside the school environment. Sometimes we’re not quite sure how to set the relevant parental controls to keep our kids safe.

Internet Matters have a fantastic interactive guide which provides step-by-step instructions on setting parental controls on the devices you have at home.

Following our introduction to E-Safety at a Parent Council meeting before the Summer, E-Safety will be one of the priorities on our School Improvement Plan this session.
