Nursery Enrolment

All four year olds are entitled to 600 hours of funded Early Learning and Childcare.  Only those 3 year olds who are eligible in August 2015 will be entitled to the full 600 hours, those eligible in January and April will only be entitled to a proportion of the 600 hour entitlement.

At Crown we offer 5 sessions of 3 hours 10 minutes in term time and priority is given to those children who live within our catchment area. You may wish to reduce the number of days your child attends and/or combine these with sessions in another centre, this can certainly be discussed.

Funded Early Learning and Childcare is available for 3 and 4 year olds within the eligibility dates below:

Children with birth dates between 1 March 2011 to 29 February 2012, will be eligible for a funded place from August 2015

• If your child’s date of birth is on or between 1 March 2012 to 31 August 2012, they will be eligible for a funded place from August 2015
• If your child’s date of birth is on or between 1 September 2012 to 31 December 2012, they will be eligible for a funded place from January 2016
• If your child’s date of birth is on or between 1 January 2013 to 28 February 2013, they will be eligible for a funded place from April 2016

If your child is eligible for a funded place you may enrol your child with us during the week beginning February 9th. Parents/carers should come to the main school office between 9.00 and 10.00am or between 2.30 and 3.30pm on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th or Thursday 12th February to enrol. Please bring with you the completed enrolment form (it’s the same one as is used for school enrolment) and your child’s original birth certificate (or other photographic identification). If your child is currently attending Crown Nursery as a three year old and you wish them to return next session, you still need to go through the enrolment process.
