Heating Failure
This message is being sent to all parents….
We have had a problem with our heating overnight. It is now on and the temperature is slowly rising.
If you are unhappy for your child to remain in school whilst the temperature is so low, please email us on
crown.primary@highland.gov.uk and advise us you will collect your child.

Dr Donald’s Last Assembly
The children did us proud singing Scottish songs and reciting poems for their “Burns Turns” to thank Dr Donald for all his hard work.
A Message from Dr Donald
Moving on: I am so grateful in anticipation of some children forming an extra choir at the Sunday 28th Jan. service at 11 am in Crown Church, my last in Inverness. Might I extend an invitation to any other Crown family (or part thereof!) to come also? I would be delighted to see you!
Parent Council Response
A reminder from the Parent Council that if you wish to return your response to the Govt consultation to school you can do so tomorrow (Friday) or you can post yourself over the weekend to arrive at Scot Govt by Tuesday.

Hockey Tomorrow (Friday)
Hockey back on this Friday in the hall and cost is £1 per session. We still have a few people owing money for last term so if you could bring that along on Friday we would be grateful.

Urgent message from Parent Council
URGENT – PLEASE ACT IMMEDIATELY.
The Scottish Government proposes to radically change the way our schools are managed and governed.
Crown School Parent Council STRONGLY OPPOSES these detrimental changes, along with Highland Council and all parent councils in Highland region. We urge you to support our opposition by adding your name to the front page of the document that will come home today, and posting immediately. The consultation closes in the next couple of days.
PLEASE ACT IMMEDIATELY AND MAKE OUR VIEWS CLEAR TO OUR GOVERNMENT – OUR CHILDRENS’ EDUCATION MATTERS.
