At our Open Afternoon on Thursday, there will be a cafe in P5! The children in Mrs Mutch’s class have been reading the novel ‘Mr Stink’ by David Walliams and they’ve been exploring the issue of homelessness. Inspired by their learning, the children have decided to set up a cafe to raise money for the Highland Homeless Trust and they need as many people as possible to pop in. There will be refreshments and delicious home-baking available so when you’re in school visiting your own child’s class, please take a moment to visit the P5 Cafe and help their fundraising efforts!
Reblogged this on Crown Primary 2.

The P5 cafe was amazing and it was lovely to see so many children from the whole school enjoying it! I hope you raised lots of money for a very deserving cause.
Totally agree with Jill, the cakes were lovely and the service impeccable. Also for a good cause.
Might be a way to raise school funds at future parent afternoons?
That’s a great idea Muriel! We’ll keep it in mind…
GREAT work, P5! The room was BUZZING when I was in!
